UK’s Special Representative for Centenary Commemorations explains Centenary plans

The British Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Centenary Commemorations, Dr Andrew Murrison MP, talks to Centenary News about UK plans to mark the 100 year anniversary.

Denying Britain is being slow in announcing its plans for the Centenary commemorations, he insists that grass roots organisations and local events will be central to the Centenary with larger national projects supported by the Government.

He will be liaising with foreign governments and also British organisations such as the Imperial War Museum to build a national programme of events for 2014-2018.
