‘The Sunday Times’ reports UK may begin Centenary commemorations in cemetery with equal numbers of British and German war dead

Nicholas Hellen of The Sunday Times reports that Britain may mark the beginning of the Centenary of the First World War with a service at a Belgian war cemetery with equal numbers of British and German war dead.

A document prepared for a government advisory body, dated March 20th 2013, sourced by The Sunday Times, reportedly states that the British Government will begin commemorations for the Centenary of the First World War in 2014 with an event at St Symphorien Military Cememtery, near Mons, Belgium.
