The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion provides welfare to armed services personnel, ex-service men and women and their dependants.

Formed in 1921, the British Legion has played an important role in supporting servicemen and women, and their families, through emotional or financial hardship throughout the UK. It also leads the country’s Poppy Appeal.
