Professor Sir Hew Strachan of All Souls College, Oxford, has told a conference on the Centenary of the First World War of his hopes for “a re-appreciation of the First World War as a global phenomenon”.
Professor Strachan was speaking at the Schools and the Great War Centenary Conference – held on Thursday 14th March 2013 at Wellington College in Berkshire.
