International conference begins in Hungary: Women in the aftermath of the First World War

Centenary News’ Dawn Kemp is attending an international, interdisciplinary conference being held in Hungary, which focuses on the experience of women during the First World War, and the impact this had on their lives and positions in society in the post-war years.

The conference, Women’s Organisations and Female Activists in the Aftermath of the First World War: Central and Eastern Europe in National, Transnational, International and Global Context, is being held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest.
