Two museums in Belgium, part of the In Flanders Fields Museum group, will host exhibitions relating to medical care during the First World War.
The exhibition, entitled ‘War & Trauma – Medical Care In WWI’, will be shared between the museums at Ypres and Ghent.
The museums will present the challenges which faced medical care due to the magnitude of the conflict, as well as the development of medical services and the treatments they offered.
The exhibition will run from 1st November 2013 – 30th June 2014.
