Centenary theatre production: ‘The Passion of the Soldiers of the Great War’

La Passion des Soldats de la Grande Guerre, (The Passion of the Soldiers of the Great War), is a Franco-German theatre project which will mark the Centenary of the First World War.

The project will “focus on the fate, experiences and the feelings of German and French soldiers together in the same community of violence and suffering during the Great War”.

The production is to be based upon the writings of two First World War soldiers: the German Ernst Jünger, and Frenchman Mauritius Genevoix.
