British minister suggests tone of UK Centenary commemorations

The Guardian has been told by British minister Andrew Murrison MP, that Centenary commemorations “will be like Titanic anniversary”.

There has been debate in Britain as to what extent Centenary events should strike a sombre as opposed to celebratory tone.
