British and Australian First World War soldiers reburied at Fromelles

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has recorded the reburial of 250 British and Australian soldiers at the Fromelles (Pheasant Wood) Military Cemetary in France.

The soldiers’ remains had been discovered in mass graves near the battle site in 2008 and were reburied with full military honours in 2010.

This video was uploaded by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and shows the first of the reburials on the 30th January 2010.
