American National Archives

The ANA’s resource includes records that range from African Americans in US forces to Armistice Day, Lost Battalions to Registration Cards and the use of Choctaw (a Native American language) used by some soldiers to communicate to evade German soldiers.

The archive also has links to a diverse range of records on events including Women’s Suffrage and War Propaganda.
