leJDD reports that the Tour de France will mark the Centenary of the First World War with a special route through sites of importance during the conflict in 2014.
The Tour de France 2014 route will feature areas directly impacted by the conflict, such as Ypres, the Somme and Verdun.
Further details will be announced in October 2013.
