The Sydney Morning Herald has published an article which explores efforts to greater understand the Turkish side of the Gallipoli campaign through the translation of primary sources and the assessments of Gallipoli within Turkish secular and Islamic circles.
“In the lead-up to the 2015 centenary of the seven-month long campaign, Turkish and Australian academics are also sifting through thousands of pages of Turkish military documents”.
