The American Battle Monuments Commission has developed an interactive online resource which allows users to explore a map of the world during the First World War.
The resource provides a year by year account of the conflict from a global perspective from 1914-1918.
The immediate pre-war and post-war years of the conflict are also featured.
Users can explore by country and by year the war’s progression as they are provided with information, images and videos from the period.
To explore the resource, visit the American Battle Monuments Commission website here.
