BBC News reports that ‘sacred soil’ from Belgian First World War battlefields, which was presented to the UK at a ceremony in Ypres, arrived at the Guards Museum on the 30th November 2013.
The soil went on procession through London and will be used to create a memorial garden at the Guards Museum, which will be open to the public next year.
