Russia’s Great War & Revolution is an online resource which aims to produce a reappraisal of Russia’s experience of the Great war from 1914-1918, and the impact of the Russian Revolution in 1917.
The project says it is supported by a worldwide community of over 200 scholars – and says its aim is to have a global perspective and interdisciplinary approach.
The organisation intends to produce several edited collections, and the first two volumes of these, devoted to wartime culture, were released in October 2014.
The main audiences for the resource will be professional historians and students. However the website is also aimed at a non-scholarly audience.
