Restoration of Welsh memorial in France

Wales Online has reported that an appeal has been launched to restore the Mametz Wood dragon memorial in France, dedicated to Welsh soldiers who fought at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.

It is hoped that donations from the public will help its restoration in time for the Centenary of the First World War.
