The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation has announced a series of events and exhibitions to mark the Centenary of the First World War.
1914 – Aufbruch. Weltbruch. (‘1914 – Awakening. World Breakup’) is the official title for the commemorative programme which will be spread across the five branches of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.
They include: the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, the Geheimes Staatsarchiv, the Ibero-Amerikanische Institut, and the Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung.
