Liège metro station in Paris is being rennovated to honour the town’s heroism in the First World War

RTBF info reports that a Paris metro station named after Liège, Belgium, is undergoing renovations.

This is being undertaken as the station “is a tribute to the heroism of a city at the beginning of the First World War”.

EXCERPT OF ARTICLE:

“In Paris’ 8th arrondissment, the Liège metro station… has just been renovated. This station honours the heroism of an entire town at the beginning of the First World War…”.
