A temporary exhibition will be held at the Rastatt Museum in Germany from Autumn 2014 onwards. This will feature pertinent and shocking war photographs taken in Alsace during the war.
A statement concerning the upcoming exhibit declares:
“This exhibition,funded by the EU, isa transnational project concerning the First World War. For the first time, contemporary objects, photographs and documents that have been preserved in the museum’s storage, are going to renovated and presented. The photographs in this project will be partially digitalized. In this way, the collection of historical photographs and documents found in the temporary exhibition will be permanently preserved and made accessible to the wider public.”
