An international conference, ‘Perspectives on the ‘Great’ War’,will take place in London in 2014 to mark the outbreak of hostilities in the First World War .
It will be organised by The School of Languages, Linguistics and Film and the School of History at Queen Mary, University of London, the Open University, and the Department of German at University College London.
The conference shall take place on 1-4 August 2014 and is set to cover a wide range of topics.
Keynotes speakers will include leading academics on the First World War from British and American universities.
