Daily News & Analysis India reports that relatives of soldiers who fought for Britain during the First World War from Apshinge Military village, in India’s Satara district, are trying to contact the British Government.
Britain plans to commemorate the contribution of Commonwealth soldiers during the Centenary, which has motivated the families to seek recognition from the UK.
