Gallipoli gunboat to be restored in time for the Centenary

The Sunday Times reports that a First World War gunboat will be restored after receiving support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and private donations.

The £2 million restoration project, of which the Heritage Lottery Fund will reportedly provide £1.8 million, will see HMS Monitor M33 opened to the public in 2015 at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
