‘First World War centenary: let’s remember a world, rather than a British, conflict’

An article in the British newspaper The Guardian considers the global nature of the First World War and argues that this should be reflected during the Centenary.

The article considers several themes, including the importance of international commemoration of the conflict; the changing perceptions of the First World War; and the question of commemoration vs celebration.
