The Dreiländermuseum collects information concerning the First World War from French, German and Swiss perspectives.
It will host a series of events concerning the centenary from 2014 onwards.
The museum’s mission statement states:
“For the past 15 years, the museum has actively collected objects that concern the fluctuating history of the borderlands between France, Germany and Switzerland”.
“This museum highlights three national perspectives on history. The collection began over a hundred years ago, and has now acquired a trinational original character thanks to research and acqusitions made in the Alsace and North-West of Switzerland.”
