Centenary update: Jutland debate postponed at UK Navy Museum

A Battle of Jutland debate – scheduled for May 9th 2016 at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth – has been postponed.

NMRN says the debate chairman, Dan Snow ‘has had to revise his very busy filming schedule to accommodate travel restrictions abroad and is now unable to attend. He passes on his sincere apologies’.

The public were invited to send in questions for a panel of historians.

A new date will be announced later in the year. Read more here from the National Museum of the Royal Navy.

NMRN’s Centenary exhibition ’36 Hours: Jutland 1916, The Battle that Won the War’, opens at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on May 19th.
