The Telegraph has reported that a new English Heritage research project will aim to locate the wrecks of British and German submarines sunk off the English coast during the First World War.
Preliminary research suggests that there are three British and 41 German submarines from the conflict known to have sunk in the area.
The project is expected to last for the entirety of the First World War Centenary period from 2014-2018.
