Bruges is hosting three temporary exhibitions in 2014-2015 to mark its invasion by Germany

To mark the centenary of the invasion of Bruges, the town has planned three temporary exhibitions centred on the conflict, which will take place from 14 October 2014- 22 February 2015. Two of these exhibitions will be photographic, whilst the third will be historical and focused on the events that unfolded in 1914. This exhibition will also attempt to provide an understanding of what it felt like to live in wartime Bruges.
