Bodleian Library planning Centenary Exhibition

Date of publication: 19/04/2012

The Bodleian Library in the UK is planning to mount an exhibition as a part of the University of Oxford’s WW1 Centenary Programme. The exhibition will explore the wartime lives of politicians, diplomats, soldiers, academics, writers and others associated with the University. The exhibition will utilise a range of materials relating to the First World War among the Librarys collections. The library says that this will be an opportunity to explore contemporary views of the war, “complementing the themes of World War One: Continuations and Beginnings”.
