The Australian Government is developing a ‘Remembrance Trail’ in France and Belgium, as part of its efforts to mark the Centenary of the First World War.
The Trail, which is being developed by the Australian Department of Veterans’ Affairs, alongside Belgian and French communities and local authorities aims “to improve visitors’ understanding and appreciation of the achievements and sacrifices of Australians” on the Western Front during the First World War.
The website contains information about where Australians fought on the Front and details about memorials on the trail.
