Portsmouth’s Navy Museum is awarded 1.4m by the HLF to create new exhibitions in time for 2014.
The National Museum of the Royal Navy has been granted 1.4 million from the HLF to extend and renovate its galleries in time for the 2014 Centenary. Located in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, the grant will be used to create new exhibitions that champion the Navy’s work in the 20th and 21st century, with particular focus on the work of the Navy during WW1.
