Victoria Park to Receive Centenary Revamp

The BBC has reported that Victoria Park in Leicester is being given funding for the centenary commemorations. The war memorial, which was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is to be lined with trees and there will also be improved car park facilities. Further improvements are currently being considered.
