The UK’s RAF Museum has received an initial Heritage Lottery Funding grant of £74,500. This is the first step in enabling the museum to receive a full grant of £706,300.
The funding will be used to showcase the RAF Museum’s collections in order to highlight the significance of the world’s ‘first air war’, the First World War.
