The Guardian has reported that the recreation of the ‘Christmas Truce’ football game played on Christmas Day 1914 between mainly British and German troops, is among Centenary plans being proposed in Britain.
British minister Andrew Murrison MP, has stated that enquiries are already being made into recreating the event and that other European nations have expressed interest in the project.
