Bullet News Niagara has reported that a group of volunteers in Canada are making efforts to restore a piece of German artillery from the First World War.
The artillery piece was captured by Canadian forces at the Battle of Vimmy Ridge in 1917 and was recently discovered in a storage facility in Niagra.
It is planned to have the piece restored in time for the centenary of the battle in 2017.
