World Bulletin reports that efforts are underway to locate 18 soldier cemeteries in Turkey used by Entente forces during the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915-16.
The project is an initiative co-ordinated between the Geophysical Engineering department at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University’s (COMU) Faculty of Engineering, the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and the Gallipoli Historical National Park Directorate.
