New research project, ‘The Home Front and its Legacies’, plans to identify thousands of sites across the UK connected to the First World War

The Telegraph reports that thousands of sites across the UK connected to the First World War “are to be identified as part of a major new research project to mark the centenary of the conflict”.

The project, entitled The Home Front and Its Legacies, is being funded by the Council for British Archaeology and English Heritage, with the universities of Bristol and York.
