The BBC has reported that a “memorial arch” in honour of First World War troops will be built to mark the Centenary of the outbreak of the conflict in Folkestone, England.
Folkestone served as a staging area for millions of British and British Imperial forces before embarking across the English Channel to serve on the Western Front.
