Kenya’s Coast Province prepares for influx of tourists during Centenary

Standard Digital reports that Kenyan hotels and tour operators have acknowledged an increase in bookings related to the First World War Centenary.

Taita-Taveta County was the scene of fighting between British and German forces during the conflict, and there are plans to mark the Centenary in the area from 2014, with a “fete” being planned at the moment.
