Exhibition to explore the role of the Jesuits in Lebanon during the First World War

L’Orient Le Jour reports that an exhibition based on the archives of the Society of Jesus in Lebanon during the First World War is being prepared to mark the Centenary of the conflict.

“Letters, diaries, inventories, personal notes: thousands of dusty documents, which have been yellowing over the last century show the four years of war that the Lebanese people are unfamiliar with. The stories written by Jesuit priests will publicise and transmit to future generations the memory of those heroic years”.
