The French Government has announced that President Francois Hollande will “inaugurate plans to mark the Centenary of the First World War” at a ceremony at the Élysée Palace today, the 7th November 2013.
The French President will visit an exhibition of photographs and archived film footage relating to the conflict before making an address about plans to mark the Centenaire de la Première Guerre mondiale.
