As the Centenary of the First World War approaches, many independent and community based projects to mark the conflict are emerging.
We That Are Left “focuses on a young war veteran and the day he receives his war medals and the memories they evoke. Set in the 1920’s he is taken back to 30th June 1916 and a largely unknown battle – The Battle of Boar’s Head – the only battle he fought in”.
The production has secured an original Edwardian house museum but is looking for funding in order to hire lighting, extras, costumes, site hire and travel costs.
