The Sunday Times: Prince William and Catherine to attend St Symphorien First World War ceremony in Belgium

The Sunday Times reports that Queen Elizabeth has asked Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge to represent the UK at a ceremony in Belgium marking the Centenary of the start of the First World War.

The paper says Prince Harry will also attend the ceremony on 4th August 2014 at St. Symphorien military cemetery near Mons, where both British and German soldiers are buried.

Prince William and Catherine have just returned to the UK after taking part in Anzac Day commemorations in Canberra on the last day of their tour of Australia and New Zealand.
