Academics call for papers for a decade-long study to better understand Russia’s WW1 experience.
More than 40 historians form this international collective which includes academics from Britain, Russia and America aim to produce a comprehensive book on Early 20th century Russian history called, ” Russia’s Great War and Revolution 1914-1922″.
The aim of the scholars is to produce a body of work that reappraises our understanding of Russia’s role in World War One, a ‘story’ that is often eclipsed by literature on the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.
