Situated in Giavera Del Montello, near Venice in Italy, the ‘Emotional Museum’ is designed to attract younger people to recognise the importance of WW1 and its legacy. As such, the organisers say, the museum will be atypical by not housing objects but will be a ‘container of events, shows and cultural programmes that emote a contemporary audience looking at a historical event’.
For anyone visiting the area, there is a British Cemetary in Giavera that has the graves of 416 British soliders killed in italy during the latter part of the war.
